Here is a new Canopy my Dad and I built for about $45 ( wood,screws,hinges,stain, etc.) It is built out of Birch Plywood . The lighting mounted in it is from AHSupply. They are Compact Flourescents - 1x55w and a 2x55w
It took us a few hours to assemble the canopy itself and I stained and sealed it over the next few days. The lighting took me only a few hours to install thanks to easy directions from AHSupply. Being a union pipefitter by trade and NOT an electrician by any means that should tell you how easy they are to install ! LOL
